Cuba There are 15 products.

In June 1855 the first stamps were issued for Cuba and Puerto Rico - the so-called Antilles. There were issued mostly with a portrait of the Spanish Queen Isabella II - until her abdication in 1873. Then stamps were marked as "ULTRAMAR" (abroad). Name CUBA appeared for first time in 1877. In the years 1876-1880 stamps were often with a portrait of Alfonso XII, then Alfonso XIII. As a result of the war of independence of Cuba (1898), United States took over the Cuban mail. In the years 1902-1958 República de Cuba used the old stamps with overprint "UN centavo", "HABILITADO", "OCTUBRE 1902" and those printed by the U.S. Since taking power by Castro in 1 January 1959 stamps are printed in Cuba.
