* In 1924 the British handed over to the Italians a part of their african colony - Jubaland. This new Italian colony - Trans-Juba [Oltre Giuba] - became in 1926 part of the Italian Somaliland [Somalia italiana]. This colony officially existed since 1905. Italians issued for those - nowadays Somalia's - territory th first stamps as BENADIR in 1903.
* Italian Eritrea (present Eritrea) existed as a colony from 1890.
* Ethiopia was occupied by Italy since 1935 (Ethiopia Italiana, present Ethiopia).

In 1936, these three areas have been merged in the Italian East Africa [Africa Orientale Italiana] - this Italian colony existed until 1941.
